Scope

At the heart of Shiftsmart's mission was a dual-user base: companies in search of quality staff and individuals ready to offer their flexible services. The platform had to cater seamlessly to both, ensuring each found value and ease in the experience. With the challenges and requirements laid out, our design process began by sketching a user journey that felt natural and intuitive. Recognizing the diverse needs of Shiftsmart's audience, we focused on making sure the platform was easy to navigate, whether a company was posting a job or an individual was searching for one.

Process

Potential users from both companies and the flexible staff community were invited to interact with this prototype. Their feedback provided clarity on what resonated with them and areas that might need a bit more tweaking. Post refinements, the Shiftsmart webapp/dashboard was rolled out. The reception was overwhelmingly positive. Companies found the platform invaluable in swiftly finding the right staff, while individuals appreciated the ease with which they could connect with potential employers. The Shiftsmart project epitomized the essence of thoughtful design.
